Mine frit after the bars, not a 24-hour city

Late plates

Editorial interpretation

If you assume you can always find street food at 00:30, you will eat hotel peanuts. Grand Baie and a few urban takeaways run later on weekends. Port Louis largely goes home. Sunday night is thinner everywhere. The 'late-night food scene' of travel blogs is often three kitchens and a lot of adjectives. Plan dinner on purpose. If you find a wok still open, order mine frit and be grateful.

Whatever is still on the wok. Mine frit is the safe late vocabulary.
